“The Lanterman Act is a California law that promises
services and supports to people with developmental
disabilities and their families. Because it is a law,
people who help you with services and supports
must do what the Lanterman Act says.”
basically, the IDEA and ADA are federal laws. the Lanterman Act is a state law that supplements the IDEA and the ADA, but it is separate from them. the federal law of section 504 also includes some of this stuff.
