How Do I Start A Website- Get People Nationwide To Join Me Advocating For People W/ Developmental Disabilities?

Both me and my only child are congenitally Disabled PWDs. I am a Disability Rights Activist-Advocate-Self Advocate and an Anti-Bullying (Peer Abuse) Activist-Advocate-Self Advocate.
Here are some ideals on Disability activism-advocacy.
1. Read and study all that you can about Developmental Disabilities.
2. Read and study all that you can about Disability Activism-Advocacy-Self Advocacy.
3. Have an agenda in what you want to acomplish for the Developmental Disabilities Community and how you are going to acomplish your agenda.
4. Teach and educate people, and raise awareness about Developmental Disabilities and Developmental Disabilities issues offline and on the Internet.
5. People need to be informed and stay updated and speak out concerning all issues that affects the Developmental Disabilities Community.
6. Get politically active and vote on all issues that affects the Developmental Disabilities Community.
7. Join or organize a Developmental Disabilities support group.
8. Join or organize a Developmental Disabilities coalition.
9. Individual action is important but collective action is also important. The more people (a group) that has the same opinions/goals about various Developmental Disabilities issues and they express their opinions on various Developmental Disabilities issues, a bigger impact will be made on the mainstream general society.
10. Teach, mentor, and empower other people to be Developmental Disabilities Activists-Advocates-Syndrome Self-Advocates.
11. A Developmental Disabilities Activist-Advocate-Self Advocate is involved with elected officials, media, community, and public agencies.
12. Document everything! By doing this, you will be creating a paper trail to back you up and you will also have something to refer back to.
13. Lobby your elected political officials.
14. Write articles for the “Public Opinions” section of your local newpaper. The articles should deal with Developmental Disabilities political issues.
15. Do letter-writing campaigns.
16. An Activist-Advocate-Self Advocate must do these things which are “Activate, Activism, Advocacy, Agitate, Educate, Organize”.

Why not help someone that is already set up. Why make one more place for people to try to support when you can help someone with a common goal.
