Obama’s & Rham’s Illinois Ranks 51st In Spending For People With Developmental Disabilities. Is That Why Obama?

by admin

in Developmental Disabilities

… is so focused on the UAW … taking care of able bodied donors is more important than taking care of adults with handicaps like downs syndrome based upon Obama’s and Rham’s efforts?
IL ranks dead last in this kind of spending per person compared to the other states and DC.

How do you think Michelle and Braq got into school in Chicago, they cheated their way in. Both care nothing about the main stream education system. Look at the schools their own children have attended, an inner city Chicago school or a private one. Oh sure they looked at public school but it was only to lie to the people, again.
He could have “fixed” the problem while he was an Il legislature, but he did not care so he did nothing. This is the same approach he is taking today. Look at the appointment he wants for Education. A real “progressive” he says. Progressive in this case means more money at the federal level and nothing for the Cities and States.
“Change” is all the cities will get, the folding money will stay in Washington where he wants it to stay.

Please state your source; also clarify if you mean spending total, spending per capita, or spending per developmentally disabled person.
When you state your source, advise what is included in the stats and whether the expanded child health care offered in Illinois is factored in. Also was the spending reduced while Obama and Rham were involved in the state legislature or after they no longer had any input into the process?
Not denying your claim, we just need more information – because as you well know figures can’t lie but liars can figure.

Once again you are more interested in slamming Dem’s than providing the facts. A US senator has no control over how a states legislature and governor allocates it’s funds. When he was in the state legislature he advocated for increased spending for people with disabilities, however the Dem’s couldn’t get much done because the reps controlled the legislature until 2003. Your cheap shots at Obama ignore the facts.

Have you ever heard of “triage”? That is when you prioritize the problems that you encounter and start solving the ones that are most pressing. The auto industry, at the moment is a bigger problem than funding for handicapped folks. That doesn’t mean they will not get their funding eventually, when it is their turn.
